Ashkeep does not collect, transmit, or store your game data on our servers — there are no servers for it. Your progress stays on your device. The one exception is the ads shown in the game, which use Google AdMob and involve Google collecting a device advertising identifier and limited ad-interaction data. See “Advertising and tracking” below.
The game saves a single progress record on your device only, in the app's local storage. It contains:
This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is never sent to Google or included in any ad request.
Ashkeep shows ads using Google AdMob, part of Google's Mobile Ads SDK. A full-screen interstitial is shown when a round ends — when the ridge holds or the core is breached — and never more often than once a minute. On iPhone and iPad a small banner is also shown on the title screen (the hold-select screen) and hidden as soon as a round starts. Ads are not shown during play.
To select, deliver, and measure these ads, the AdMob SDK running inside the app collects and shares the following with Google:
This is separate from your game data: your progress and settings are never sent to Google or included in any ad request. We do not run our own advertising or analytics servers — Google's AdMob service handles ad delivery and measurement directly.
On iPhone and iPad, the first time you open Ashkeep, iOS asks whether you allow the app to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). Only if you choose Allow can the AdMob SDK read the device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and use it for personalised ads; if you choose Ask App Not to Track, it cannot, and you still get the whole game with non-personalised ads. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your device's own settings let you limit ad personalisation or reset your advertising identifier (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising). You can learn more about how Google collects and uses data through AdMob at Google's Partner Sites policy.
Because of this, the app declares the INTERNET and com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID Android permissions — both are used solely to request and display ads. The iOS app asks for no permissions other than the tracking choice described above.
Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored on your device.
Ashkeep is a general-audience game intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at or marketed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — we collect no game data from any user of any age ourselves.
